Cubrio-Verificador

És el programa amb què Cubrio comprova cada mes que les polítiques de devolució i de garantia que ensenya a la seva app i a cubrio.es continuen dient el mateix al web de cada botiga i de cada fabricant.

Què baixa: només les pàgines de polítiques que citem a l’app i a cubrio.es (devolucions, garantia, condicions de venda i avís legal), un cop cadascuna a cada passada. Hi busca la frase exacta que mostrem i desa si hi és i una empremta del text, per saber si la pàgina ha canviat. No desa còpies de les pàgines.
Quan: el dia 2 de cada mes i, de vegades, quan afegim una botiga nova. Si una pàgina falla, la repeteix un sol cop al cap de 10 minuts.
Com s’identifica: amb el User-Agent Cubrio-Verificador/1.0 Agent/Cubrio i la capçalera From: verificador@cubrio.app.
Com es comporta: llegeix i respecta el teu robots.txt. Demana les pàgines d’una en una i, si respons 403, 429 o 503, espera el que digui Retry-After (30 s com a màxim) i ho torna a provar un sol cop. Si torna a fallar, ho repeteix tot, només un cop, 10 minuts després. No executa JavaScript, no es fa passar per un navegador i no resol captchas ni fa servir proxies o còpies de tercers per saltar-se un bloqueig.
Com bloquejar-lo: afegeix al teu robots.txt User-agent: Cubrio-Verificador i Disallow: /, o bloqueja aquest User-Agent al teu tallafoc. Si ho fas, deixarem de comprovar les teves pàgines automàticament, i l’app només mostrarà la teva política si una persona la pot comprovar al teu web.

Cubrio-Verificador is the program Cubrio uses every month to check that the return and warranty policies shown in its app still say the same on each retailer’s and manufacturer’s website.

What it downloads: only the policy pages we cite in the app (returns, warranty, terms of sale and legal notice), once each per run. It looks for the exact sentence we show and stores whether it is there and a fingerprint of the text, to know whether the page has changed. It does not keep copies of the pages.
When: on the 2nd of every month and, sometimes, when we add a new retailer. If a page fails, it tries again only once, 10 minutes later.
How it identifies itself: with the User-Agent Cubrio-Verificador/1.0 Agent/Cubrio and the header From: verificador@cubrio.app.
How it behaves: it reads and follows your robots.txt. It requests pages one at a time and, if you answer 403, 429 or 503, it waits for Retry-After (30 s at most) and tries only once more. If that fails too, it repeats the whole thing once, 10 minutes later. It does not run JavaScript, does not pretend to be a browser, and does not solve captchas or use proxies or third-party copies to get around a block.
How to block it: add User-agent: Cubrio-Verificador and Disallow: / to your robots.txt, or block that User-Agent in your firewall. If you do, we will stop checking your pages automatically, and the app will only show your policy if a person can check it on your website.
